So will a 4000+ deffo hit 3Ghz?

No it won't "deffo" hit 3GHz.

It "may" do it but only if you're lucky.

Mine only does 2.7 at a push (even then it has problems with F@H).

Keep the X2, its hit and miss. I had a 0515 3700+ that did 3ghz but my 2.5ghz X2 is much better!

Thats quite low for a 12x multi. Is that stock volts, only i'd of thought you'd easily get your fsb higher than 225??? You sure something else isn't holding you back??
