And I still haven't fired it up.

What's holding me back is not wanting the spoil the film...

I guess I'm just being daft, but I'll not be seeing the film until it's out on disc.



Anyone who's seen the film & played the game care to comment?

I'm sure it's going to be a great game (lots of fun to be had cutting things to bits), but it's really the story aspects I'm concerned about. Don't really want to ruin the film by playing the game, if you see what I mean.

i know exactly what you mean, and i would be the same.

The storyline is comprised of a combination of the Wolverine backstory being explored in the upcoming movie of the same name as well as original story created by Raven Software. In recent interviews, lead developer Dan Vondrak indicates that roughly 90% of the movie storyline is in the game. However, that comprises less than half of the overall videogame story, with the balance being exclusive to the game.


According to that 90% of the films storyline is in the game, so basically all of it :(

this is one of the best action games i have played :) the story could be a bit better but when its this fun and gory i can forgive it :P
 
Hmm watched a vid and its not accurate to the film cos when you attack it seems he has metal claws (mainly sounds is the trouble) but there bone before the medical procedure later on.

Also the likeness is shockingly poor. :(
 
well ive been playing it all night, brilliant game

and its nothing like the film

and to the person talking about the bone claws, its because the game goes from past to present back to past and so on.

would carry on playing but dont want to finish in first day of having it lol
 
Are you going by the leaked version of the film? why did you watch a copy of a film that's unfinished?

Of course it would be bad....

I've installed the game today, not played yet....will give it a go now.

No I saw it at the cinema tonight. You realise its released?
 
Damn this game is fun , love all the gore and different ways to kill!. I do recommend running atleast X8 AF to do the filtering justice and also vsync ON because it does tear a lot on my system without it. Frame rates are high :D
