So, yesterday was rather interesting...

I became a Dad again, 4 weeks earlier than expected!

Was phoned at 05:15 to tell me to make my way to the hospital, arrived at the delivery sweet by 05:55 and had missed the birth of my daughter by 20 minutes or so :eek:. So much for a first time mum taking 20 or so hours to give birth.

Both Mum and Baby are doing great, kid spent some time in an incubator to get her temperature up and stuff but nothing to worry about, both hopefully coming home either today or tomorrow.


TLDR I got a nice gift wrapped baby without seeing any of the gross stuff again! SCORE!!!

Not quite, got two older kids to the ex partner.... see them every weekend and 50% of all holidays etc but going to have to get used to being a full time Dad again and couldn't be happier!

Similar boat, I have a 16 year old daughter to ex wife....then a 14 year gap to identical twin boys with new(ish) wife. Man doing the whole nappy/changing/winding thing again was a wake up call, especially when there is two of them. Congrats though :)

Yeah that's the part I'm not looking forward too lol I felt so nervous yesterday changing her nappy etc it was weird

Don't worry about being a first time dad again, it sounds tough but the third first time has got to be easier then the first time or the second first time. Then again, it is also your first third time

They told me quitting smoking was hard but how wrong were they, I have given up at least 20 times this week!

Thank you guys.... I'm over the moon, little beggar has messed up my plans from migrating my system to a new case though this week lol
