So you can't clean a Samsung TV screen?

apparently there is a big issue where if you clean certain Samsung tv screens that have a reflective
coating then it smudges and you cant get rid of the smudges.
I've read online of people saying it can be distracting as you may notice it in dark scenes when viewing content.

So is this another overblown issue on the net or does anyone have experience here?

I had an old Samsung TV that I thought had a dirty patch from its previous owner. I rubbed it not particularly vigorously with the sleeve from my top only to realise that the mark was actually damage to the a anti-glare coating, which I had then managed to remove even more of

Yes.
- Cleaning with liquid dissolves the reflective coating and you get a nasty blue-ish streak across your expensive tv.
- You can dust it with a dry microfibre cloth.
- If you sneeze and need to clear the little specks off, just lick your finger and dab it on then gently wipe it dry with a microfibre cloth (be very precise and careful), the result will be noticeable but you kept it as small as possible, it gets slightly better over time.
- Defo not suitable tvs for someone with kids. Or a wife who will just ignore you and wipe it with a damp cloth.
- My advice would be to get a tv with a glass front so you can easily clean it. I would never have bought it had I realised.
