I remember Atheism+ being the big thing a few years back. Now it's dead in the water. Now we have shiny new buzz words like SJW and Triggered to play with. It's all crap at the end of the day. Just be nice to each other and everything else will work it's self out.
Ironically, Atheism+ was both started, and destroyed by, SJWs.

Just Local Authority/Government ones that, ultimately, the "Consumer" will have no choice as to whether or not they have to pay for them.
I do think the concept of an 'SJW' is largely horse****. Like, literally. People like that don't really exist in most peoples day to day lives. Of course, there's always been far right and left leaning people, but all this 'SJW' stuff seems to have been perpetuated by the rise of meme culture. People espousing opinions based on very little information they attained from said memes. That counts for those rallying against SJW's as well.
If anything, the anti 'SJW' crowd seem to be far more vocal. A small group of people take offense to something with a fairly overbearing liberal attitude and then twice that amount get offended at what they're saying.

But again, if you're referring to someone like Sarkeesian (who actually has some decent points buried under a lot of her self interest), these people don't really exist in real life. Most people aren't at all bothered with the politics of life, they just get on with it and try to be decent to one another regardless of skin colour/gender/religion.
Even the commenters are a minority. Not to be overly judgemental, but all these people belong to a small sub culture who spend most of there time on the internet concerned with what other people are doing/saying.

I personally believe the rise of the alt-right was caused by the SJW movement.
Again, I've known racist ****s all my life. It's just the same old nonsense rebranded for the modern age.
Lets not forget how intensely judgemental the internet is to. If you have even slight feminist leanings, you'll be branded as an SJW in the same way leave voters will instantly be considered far right racists.

The VR thing I do not get at all. Heck I remember back in the days of Tomb Raider, you would put Lara in positions that forced the camera into lulz positions. TR3 was great for it when she was on all fours /misogyny
The revenge porn I do support. The pictures are taken with a kind of unspoken agreement. Having known someone who fell foul of something very bad about the retention of pictures of ex's it goes without saying mine get deleted if and when they get taken after a minute or so or a quick recapture

Yea you're probably right. It's only a small group of mental idiots (from both left and right wing leaning ideologies) that seem to get the most screen time as people seem to enjoy consuming extreme views. Like you said, the overwhelming majority of people just get on with things, male or female.
I used to enjoy reading Reddit MGTOW. But interestingly found that it was starting to warp my view on relationships and women in general. I guess I could twist and turn events in my mind to find common ground with some of these guys that post there. It wasn't a healthy thing for me
In the end I find SJW no different from any other group. People just seem to want to belong under a banner with others, whatever the flavour of the group. I doubt most truly believe the views they're peddling.
I still find that bizarre. What is so bad about enjoying each other with no clothes on rather than this obsession most have with nude photos. As some point they'll likely be accidentally uploaded somewhere through their phone app settings. "Ooops!"

Naturally I prefer the real deal.
The problem arises when a party keeps in the act footage. The person stated kept this and at the time they were both under age. His ex found out years later and reported it. Suffice to say you perhaps know what he got done for.
The revenge part comes from a deliberate upload. When that happens I do feel that where it can be proven beyond doubt, necessary charges should follow. That does go for men and women.
