Hey guys,

I recently posted this thread.

I passed the info onto my friend and never heard any more back from her, until today…

She checked out Mambo and that didn’t’ really do what she wanted, so she moved onto to looking a PHP MySpace? That was just what she was after, but she emailed them to ask a couple of questions and she never heard back form them… She’s sent about 4 emails now in two weeks. On those grounds she’s (understandably) reluctant to part with any cash, especially online

Is there nothing else out there that we could look at, that’s ready made

I haven’t got the time or patience to start coding anything, so I was going to suggest that she went for a consultation in a high-street developer – hopefully the astronomical costs that they will start talking will deter her

In the mean time can anyone else offer any kind of ready made software solution? Surely MySpace must have started somewhere...

it amazes me that there's a ready built script, in phpmyspace, costing only £75.

No one worth half their salt in interenet developing are going to get out of bed for that.

Sometimes you just have to try things that you want to do.
