Socket 1150 or 1155 I5 cpu?

Im on a tight budget but looking to replace my aging Core2dou Q9400. I want an I5 cpu, I was looking at Intel Core i5-3570K 3.40GHz (Ivybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor (77W) - Retail

But boards are about £100+

But now I see Intel Core i5-4430 3.00GHz (Haswell) Socket LGA1150 Processor - Retail

And boards much more reasonably priced. Is there gonna be a huge difference? Can you recommend me something?

Are you planning on upgrading the 7850 any time soon?, if not, an FX8320 AM3+ (While a dead platform) would be a very good upgrade at a lower price point.

If you're set on i5, it has to be a 4670K with Z87 board.

I'll be selling my H87 gigabyte hd3 1150 board that's only had a few hours use soon. It won't fully utilise the high speed of my RAM being the H. But if it's not a concern, would only be £60, so a wee saving there.

Can't sell it on here though as don't have the post count, but you can keep an eye on well known auction and private selling site.

If you want I5 I would get the 4670k, as there's no point buying old, although there isn't much of an improvement it's still worth buying the new tech as there isnt much difference in price. Definetly the k though as you can then overclock it!
Otherwise an 8320 is another possibilty.
