Socket 1150 recommendation? Don't oc/multi gpu etc

If you will have that system for a long time, in your position I'd go for the UD4H or maybe the OC, but more likely the UD4H at this point in time for the free cooler

Certainly don't go for the H87 board anyway, if your choosing some decently quick RAM.
I, stupidly, didn't bother checking the specs of the board. I had originally picked out a nice Z87 board for a build I was putting together, and then it was suggested I go for a H87 and save some cash.
Regret it now, as my 2400 MHz XMP RAM will only clock at 1600 MHz. I was too excited and didn't do enough research, and just went with the suggestion. Now I wish I had ignored it (the advice), and went with my initial gut instinct, and went for the better board.
Don't get me wrong though, the board seems decent enough. Just not what I was looking for. So now I have to try and sell my week old board, and replace it with something that'll actually make full use of my RAM.

Sniper is good for the money but PERSONALLY the Bigfoot Killer NIC is not a selling point. It's a drawback.
