Socket 1155 motherboard confusion...

Looking to upgrade my AM3 kit soon in the next couple of weeks or so, was curious about the specs of this specfic motherboard...

MSI B75A-G43

As far as I was aware B75 chipset doesn't allow overclocking although this mobo seems to be classed as a Z77, and on the box picture and MSI page for this motherboard it clear states 'OC Genie'.

So does this allow overclocking?

Was only going to pair it with an i3 2100 or similar for now, but would like to be able to overclock a K series CPU in the not so distant future.

Intel Launches 7-Series Chipsets

Three business oriented chipsets, B75, Q75 and Q77 were released at the same time, none of which allow overclocking of the CPU core. All chipsets allow overclocking of the integrated GPU.

Get yourself a Z77 chipset motherboard.

Yeah I think I would probably rather just add the extra £7 or whatever it is to get the MSI Z77A-G43 was just curious how the B75 could overclock when I thought it was removed on that chipset.
