It is yes, but it's an older i7, Based on the X58 chipset, Essentially your i7 is two generations old, that's why replacement boards are so expensive tbh, they're not really made anymore.
You could sell your current i7 chip for around 70-90 quid on the bay, and upgrade to something a bit more recent, or look around for a 2nd hand X58 motherboard, which you should be able to pick up for around 80 quid
It is, but as you are looking at socket 1366 boards which command strong money as they are not produced anymore and your CPU should fetch a decent amount also.
You maybe financially better off selling the CPU and swapping to another socket.
