Socket 2011, quad-channel memory?

This socket is expected to be released alongside Sandy Bridge-E in Q4 2011, and will support 4 memory channels...

Does this mean socket 2011 will be using a quad-channel memory setup?

I would have thought that since 1156 and it's successor 1155 both use dual-channel, socket 2011 would use triple-channel the same as 1366.

Does anyone know about this?

Haven't there been pictures of 2011 with quad channel, 2 either side of the cpu socket.
