I have a choice between two CPUs a 2.6ghz Celeron and a 2.2Ghz P4. The Celeron is £10 and the P4 is £15.

Is the P4 worth the extra £5? i'm assuming it is but I just wanted to make sure.

This is for a uber cheap build btw!
 
Yes the 2.2 ghz is a lot better , never ever touch celerons except for testing purpuses.


The p4 is acceptable in most stuff still, but the celly is slow as hell, my bet is its as slow as 1500mhz wilamette p4 , perhaps little bit better...
My school has some celerons 2.8ghz, and I even cant stand browsing on them...
