Socket 478 compatibility

Hi all,

Would this cpu (http://processorfinder.intel.com/details.aspx?sSpec=SL6WK) work in the Abit IT7-Max2?

Im guessing no as the bus speeds are different, but worth a try as my friend currently has a 1.8ghz installed but Ive got a spare 3ghz chip around.
