socket 775 cpu upgrade

Yeah i noticed the 45nm and that it only supports 65nm is the c2q 45nm only , also i have a 6420 so not much to be gained really buy getting the older cpuz. Can anyone reccomend a cheap intel cpu and motherboard combo that will make use of my existing case and ram cheers
 
currently using ddr2 533 i think cant get access to my machine at the moment as its currently on camp purchased of a mate who was upgrading not sure about budget as little as pos really between the 100-150 mark
 
thats rubbish i feel really ripped off and u are right under properties in system it says their is 1gb used for system why would they do this any way round it cheers for that info
