Thanks for the reply, I've been loooking at the Asus P5P800-SE and it seems like a good board for stability and overclocking from what I've read and the price is good so I'll probably go for that. I want to overclock a P4 3.0 on it does anyone know how far I'm likely to get if I got good air cooling? does anyone know experience of this mobo?
The reason I'm not going A64 this time is that one main reason for upgrading is for seti@home and hyperthreading makes the P4's much faster than the AMD's at this. Also, I'm far behind with the hardware now and not sure what PSU to get due to the 24 pin requirements, are there any recomendations for under £60 that would run
P5P800-SE
P4 3.0 Prescott
2 x value ram 512mb
gf4 ti4200 (i no i dont game)
cd-rw
120gb maxtor hdd
