Hey

I've asked about this before but no one seemed to know for sure. My question is: are all socket 939 A64 X2s no longer in production? i.e. after current world wide retail stock has sold, no more will be made and it will not be possible to buy a brand new one.

I gathered that the ones with 1MB cache (4400+, 4800+) are no longer in production, but what about the other 512KB cache models? The 3800+, 4200+, 4600+, etc?

The blurb in the OCUK shop for the 4600+ 939 X2 says "Socket 939 production has ended! OcUK has managed to source approx 500 of the Athlon X2 4600 Retail with high clock speeds. Not only that we have a truly amazing price but these 500 will be sold within days so be quick and buy now."

Has production of all socket 939 A64 X2s, be it 512KB cache, 1MB cache, whatever model, ended? If you know then please provide a reputable link that confirms either way. Thanks!

The more I look around, the more I think that OC are just trying to hype people (like me :p) in to thinking this is their last chance to get the likes of a 4600+, when in fact they're going to be in production for a quite a while longer and will probably get even cheaper.
