Help, my Pc decided it would die on me last night for no apparent reason, at first i thought it would be the PSU as i've been using a generic 400w one for the past couple of years, So this morning i decided to purchase a Thermaltake 500w supply after reading a couple of reviews on it which seemed good.
plugs it all in when i got back, switch on, no power :(

So it seems the PSU has gone out in glory and taken my motherboard and maybe processor out with it.

Now, my dilemma is, i have a AGP GForce Fx 6600GT gfx card and a socket 939 processor, my motherboard is a MSI K8T neo, after looking at ocuk and other sites, socket 939 AND AGP seem to be a rare combination these days, are there any boards still out there (apart from the cheap asrock ones).

thanks

dont knock the asrock dual sata2 exdellent board,

running mine on a opty 146 at 2.9 ghz quite happily :) :)

maybe a bit short on features and maybe not all singing and dancing, but it does its job and has enough bits and bobs to keep most happy,

oh and it gives you the option of going pci-e when you feel the urge
