Socket 939 Coolers on AM2 etc.

Hi, just a quick question,
do AMD Socket 939 official coolers fit Socket AM2 onwards.
Im guessing they do but would like confirmation from someone who knows for certain.

yes they fit

all coolers that use the amd clip fitting will fit any skt fom 754 to am3.

the only skt 939 coolers which will not fit are the ones that screw to the backplate as amd changed the screws from 2 to 4 at the start of am2.

I have a few AMD PIB 939 coolers, a couple have'nt even been used, thought I stick them on "the bay", someone may as well get some benifit from them.

Got an Artic Cooling Freezer 64 PRO S939 running on a an AM3. As said above if it uses the clip to connect to default AMD socket it wil be fine.
