lol, some cheap 939 chips too. Clearance CPU's will appear here over the next few days but, as mentioned, are EXTREMELY limited. ONLY ONE OR TWO OF EACH IN MOST CASES!!

Obviously a price mix up there, this will be sorted out. Keep an eye on the link as more will appear over the next week.

Hi guys,

I'll get these prices double checked 1st thing monday.

Thoroughbred 333Mhz clock like mad and have been known to hit 2.9Ghz + on a vapochill rig. They still make decent gaming chips and some people who can't afford to ugrade a whole system and have a dead SKT A CPU will find these chips a godsend. They are not in production anymore.

and nutbuster - they are clearnce items - you or anybody else does not HAVE to buy them. lol :) Socaddict seems happy though (see above) ;)

Read the earlier posts - prices are being adjusted. Also, some of these CPUs are still in high demand and regularly sell for big bucks. There are still people who have socket A rigs and can't afford to throw it all in the bin for an AM2 rig. :)

Nobody is forcing anybody to buy anything so if you are not interested, simply do not buy one. Do please refrain from criticising stock that has already been clearly described as clearance items that are no longer in production. OF COURSE a 2800 XP will not be as quick as a 3500 64.

Many of you are misinterpreting the nature of this thread. I simply stated that we have some older (some rare and discontinued) CPUs to clear. We thought this information may be of interest to people desperately looking for a replacement CPU due to NOT being able to upgrade to a whole new rig. We don;t guarantee overclocking levels, stepping codes etc etc. We'll help with as much info as we can where we can (see above).

Argh, seriously tempted by that XP-2600M Barton.

Gah!

And I'm supposed to be upgrading in the near future as well.

EDIT: argh, went for it. Ah well, lets see how much I can clock out of the bugger.

How are you getting on with it then?

Clocked it yet?

Tried those settings with a 13 X multiplier? Should be OK if you slacken the RAM timings off a little. ;)

My 2500+ (not mobile) ran at 400 X 11 (2.2GHz) instead of 333 X 11 (1.8GHz).

It even showed up in windows and the BIOS as a 3200+ :p
