Socket A cooling

Hi all
My bro has a Socket A mobo (cast-off from my upgrade 2 yrs ago!) but need a new cooler for the last one has just died

Anyone any ideas of what we can use?

Yeh I thought so. Worth a shot. He's skint so can't afford an upgrade and theres no way I'm financing it!! He'll have to wait till I get my next upgrade, which will be some time yet cos its running well despite being 2 yrs old.

Yeah I know lol. Wasn't exactly cutting edge when I had it! Trouble is the case he has (no idea what make etc) is shocking for cooling at best of times so may well get him an Antec 300. That said no decent CPU cooler kinda defeats the object

Doh! Mis-read the 300 price: thought it was £30 but its nearer £50!!! lol

Just found an old Zalman flower fan with dead fan. Easy to remedy and just get another one!
Just needs new case now (thats why we didn't use it before - it didn't fit)
