Socket AM3+ Motherboards

Hi guys,

im looking at upgrading my AM3+ motherboard and have been for a while. I have held off to see if there will be any new motherboards released.

Does anyone have any ideas on when/if they will be released?

Is there any problem with the current board? I would advise waiting for Zen.

There's not a lot of point unless your current board is faulty. AM3+ is dead and the socket is ancient although there have been some updated boards released recently to try to bring them up to date but they are still lagging behind the features of Intels boards. When Zen eventually releases it will bring a new chipset and the AM4 socket with it. How good it is though nobody can say as AMD have released very little information about it.
