Socket?

what would be the best socket to get because i have planned on building a haswell build 1150 socket, however i understand that the new ivebridge-E is a 2011 socket so im confused :S

2011 is the higher end.
1150 is mainstream.

I'd get 1150.

Although it depends what you're using it for.

Unless you need more than 4 cores and quad channel RAM, Haswell will be fine.
