SOCKET939 to Core2Duo Questions

Hey all

recently got a 8800gts and have the current spec minus the gfx card that i replaced

AMD SKT939 3500+ Winchester
Gigabyte GA-K8NXP-9 SKT 939 Motherboard
OCZ Platinum 2GB (2 x 1GB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200)
X800XL 256mb PCI-E

im goign to sell it all and get a C2D setup need a cpu,motherboard,ram

looking to spend under 200 in total so most the cost will be payed off from selling my system

Intel Core 2 Duo E4300 "LGA775 Allendale" 1.80GHz (800FSB) - Retail
GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC6400C5 800MHz Value DDR2 Dual Channel Kit (GX22GB6400DC)

seems these are the best at the moment what motherboard would you recommend?

and what setup would you get for under 200??

Think you may find that to be your best bet.

You may want to overclock that CPU though.

EDIT : ok, more over budget then i thought, but yu would really have to skimp on the ram to bring it down.

why you are not suggesting the

is it not worth the extra money, im looking for a cheaper mobo most probs as the system is only going to be used for 6 months odd then my main upgrade will happen and this will be a htpc for 720p/1080p playback only.
