Think I remember c2i, I was in w2d and others like (S.O) and Fv| good times.
Going to give it a try on my win x64 setup. Absolutely loved the mp side of SoF2, the weapons felt great. I can still remember the gurgling noise youd get when you took a guys head off with a shotgun!
I also have a mate who still plays mp every day, he also compulsively buys up copies of the game when ever he sees one. Think he had twelve last time I saw him

.Back in the day I ran a clan called FeaR ..
name was wabbit and Zero, we were no1 on CB then for Dem, then I moved(to Spain 
) and stopped playing ..clan died away ...ahh the good old days ..now its just so full of cheats ..dirty buggers

Sorry to drag this back up, but what drivers were you using swordfish, i've was playing fine until i changed from ati 10.4 to the 10.11driver then it stopped, so i went back to 10.4 and it works again.

Played SOF2 for years, started on the original game and played through to Gold.
SOF2 1.0 was great fun but with no anti-cheat protection, it was rife with hackers so I left a lot of friends behind and installed Gold.
I even ran my own server on Gold and became a PSB Admin, used to download all the latest public hacks and add their cvar's, file md5's etc to my configuration files.
Unfortunately though, hacks became more and more clever and used hooks rather than passing cvars directly to the console and loading from outside the games install directory.
Most of these top clans used Invoke (if I recall the name correctly), one Invoke user befriended me and told me via Vent that he cheated and he showed me going around Shop2 pointing out where people were before killing them. That hack pretty much killed the game for me, because as a PSB admin it was undetectable with the tools Punkbuster gave us.
I got to admit, I was gutted when he told me because I respected him before then and I also considered him a friend and didn't want to let his secret out.
Shame, but it happens in every multi player game, in retrospect, I wish I never became a PSB admin because I would have been ignorant to it all. Ignorance is bliss, so they say.

I played this for many years. I was in a clan for a short while - Something like Hell dogs, or HDR I think.
I just tried to fire it up and get an appcrash message similar to this...
