Hi all,
I have a SOFS cluster at site 1 which I am using for user profile disks, ue-v store and ue-v catalog. This is accessed by users located in site 1 and also users in site 2. If site 1 goes down, in a DR scenario I'd like site 2 to continue as usual. How on earth do I go about replicating a SOFS cluster?
AFAIU my options are
Create a new SOFS cluster at site 2 and use DFSR. Not sure how I will host the cluster name to span two clusters?
Build a node on the existing cluster at site 2, however since it will still be using the SAN at site 1 this won't work if site 1 goes down. Could I perhaps use SAN replication (there is a SAN at site 2). Connect the LUN to the cluster and leave offline? In the event of an outage, bring the LUN online?
