Soft creaking sounds coming from mobo\cpu area.

Intermittently, there will be a sound coming from inside the computer that sounds like a slight creak, not high pitched but sort of like when you step on a wooden floorboard. This usually happens as the system is coming out of load or going into load. I wouldn't be that worried about it normally, but since it hasn't happened before I'm wondering what could be causing it.
Noise is coming from near cpu fan.
Could the motherboard or cpu fan be "warping" from the heat? Is this normal?

Edit: A more akin comparison might be to a car that has just turned off, and the engine makes kind of sporadic ticking noises as it cools off. Just wondering if computers could make this noise as well (but not as loud).

Hey. I have a Cooler Master Centurion 590. I am using stock box cooler in 4790k.
So. Whenever i starting running a game ( pc is heating up ) i can hear a single ticking plastic noises from cpu cooler. After that is quiet. But when i quit game ( pc is cooling down ) i can hear the same similiar noises from cpu area.

I dont have problem with stability in pc. But i am worried about that clicking ( like plastic ) noises from cpu cooler when its cooling down.

No there is not any dripping capacitor, because that ticking \ scratching noise is coming from cpu fan.
Only when pc is cooling down or heating up. Not during load. Any ideas?

I have non regular scratching\ticking noise when pc is heating up or cooling down. Its coming from cpu fan. I am sure , that not any wires are hitting on blades. When my graphic card is heating up ( after loaded a game ) im getting no regular ticking noises. Or when quiting games ( cooling down ) the same. But during load all is quiet, no ticking.
I was thinking that is my GPU but i close my ear and its from cpu fan.
I ran prime95 stress test for the cpu and there was no sound. So i dont understand this.
Why i have non regular ticking noises from cpu when my gpu is heating up?
when i test prime95 ( most cpu stress ) i dont have that ticking noises from cpu.
Problem started after i installed my new gpu Ichill 980 Ti 3x OC. On my previous 980 ti reference i dont have ticking noise from cpu.
Any ideas?

yeah on previous graphic card its not happening. So i cant understand this.
