As title. Using summat like rivatuner or similar, is it possible to unlock extra pipelines/clocks, etc on a 7600gs (pci-e) to convert it to a 7600gt?

Cheers.

Well there wouldnt be any extra pipes as they both have 12.

mite be possible with a BIOS flash but i think you'd need the DDR3 version of the GS, which i think Galaxy make

Cheers for the info mate. As an aside, I've been reading up on the 7300gt and for the money it seems a stonkingly good card. How does one of those compare with the 7600gt?
The reason I'm asking is I want to downgrade the kid's pc (way too powerful for the use it gets) but I still want it to play some games with at least a bit power (CS:S, farcry, quake3, doom, etc).
Wadya reckon?

Well i picked up a 7300GT DDR3 yeaterday, complete with a Zalman for £25 from ocuk.

Havent tried it tho as ive not built my rig yet. Should be faster than a 6600GT tho and easily handle the games you mention at 1280x1024 or 1440x900.

Apparently 2 of them in SLI are about the same as a 7900GS
