Softmodding a Geforce card to a QUADDRO?

Looking for some up to date advice on soft modding a geforce card to a quaddro... not fussed on which geforce card as I will be buying one new... around £200 budget, but I'd like to know that its 100% possible and works 100% before I do the mod :)
 
It's a thing of yesteryear. Ati and Nv caught on and stopped it dead.

Cards from the last few generations (years) are not soft-modable to the workstation counterparts.

so in a nutshell.... no
 
it doesnt happen - they lock the cards bios

i would just look at something like a 260

a friend of mine uses one in his workstation at his office and it copes just as well as a quaddro of similar spec [which would be over twicw the price probably]
