Software audit ...software

Hi

What are people using for this? I have a vbs script that can pull all of the installed items/updates from a machine but am looking for a more complete package.

IE something I hopefully wouldn't have to install on each machine then an interface that can pull all the information together and display it in a friendly manor (not notepad

).

Cost seems to be pretty high for simple software... only need it for around 100 pcs.

Yea, I can get a fair bit of data from the Group policy inventory tool too. But not all programs from add/remove.

I'll take a look at Netsupport. Thanks.

To be honest, I can pretty much get all the data to a text file I need now. It's just how to organize a hundred or so text files to make it worth while!

Wow, VERY impressed with spiceworks after a quick network scan, seems to do exactly what I want... for free

Just need to sort out a firewall exception now I think as I can only see 12 machines out of about 60 on this site
