Hi,

Can anyone recommend me some good software to audit each and every client on a domain for software licensing purposes? We are talking about 75 workstations.

Something nice and simple, nothing too complicated.. do not want to spend thousands and only need it to do just the software auditing and perhaps tell when there's an un-authorized installation being done. Machines need domain user in the admin group for other reasons. (Old legacy software before you ask)

Spiceworks

Do you use it? Can you offer an advice on useage? Seems to good to be true, being free.. Dont wanna be pestered by ads or anything..

Hey I'm not paying so dont mind if it costs something.. Nothing more than a few grand a yr though.

How well does it work?

Had any problems setting it up and configuring it to work fully?

Only problem I have had was registering (which does not effect functionality)

Easy to set-up , once you configure scanning ip ranges and start it off
its easy , really easy , any retard could use it
