Software Developers Trim Costs on New Games

I'm not a subscriber, I found it linked to investment articles I was reading, I thought people in here might find it interesting.

This is part of the issue. Without more information it isn't interesting at all.

And as you have no opinion on the matter we're back at the start - there's really nothing to say about it.

Theres loads of software they can use like NDO 2 and DDO, Physics and animation packages which saves a lot of time. I'm not surprised, with the processing headrooms, they can use shaders and physics more easily and accurately, without too much messing about.

Exactly they are cutting costs by using SDKs for physics animations etc.
The fact there are more and more game engines being licensed each and every year which cuts out all the big work which they spend most of their time on so games spend less time in development.

Humbug maybe you are 12 years old, but there is nothing to discuss here.

Have you had your first Business Studies lesson at school and are now totally shocked?

You do understand how a business in the western world works?
