software fan tool

Hi
I've been searching the forums for a good software fan tool for my GFX card.
Ntune or Rivatuner don't seem to want to let me set default fan speeds at startup.
I have to go in and set them each time I run the pc.
Does anyone know of one that will allow me to do this?

ATI tool doesn't seem to allow fan speed change on nV cards.

On mine (7800GT) all fan speed options are permanently greyed out.
