Software for 8 x 10 ?

Hi All

Can any kind people direct me to any decent software that as the settings for 8x10 photo printing as well as other sizes please.
I am using my Canon Pixma 8500 and Canon Easy Print but it aint got any settings for 8x10 photos any ideas folks please ?
I am new to this so any help would be grateful in obtaining 8x10 prints , do I still use A4 photo paper or do I need to purchase 8x10 paper ?

In photoshop you can set up your own document sizes and store them as templates.

I removed all of photoShop's presets and set up my own. My printers have unprintable areas around the edges of the document (.3cm top, left, right and 1.7cm at the bottom for one printer and different margins for the other),

So you could define your 8 x 10 document size and save it as a template (make two, one for portrait and one for lanscape). If you then go to Print Preview, Printer set-up and tell the printer you are loading A4 Paper, (even though you are not) making sure you have set the photo to print at the top left of your paper you will be OK.

You will also need to buy a trimmer to remove the excess edges, staples have them for a few pounds
