Would something like Dragon Naturally Speaking voice control be quite beneficial to a partially sighted/blind person? In conjunction with a screen reader of course.
I use software from dolphin, it is expensive but good quality with a lot of features from screen magnification to screen readers. I've used HAL since the MS-DOS days with WordPerfect when I was at school.
