software for course booking

currently using excel by simply labeling a column and type peoples names into the cells under it, this is exactly what we want to replicate but it would be nice if we had something a bit better

outlook would work except I cannot just drop people onto a day without creating mutiple meetings.

also it would be nice to be able to report on who has done which courses..

any suggestions on software thats designed for this? (only 2 or 3 users and needs to be cheap)

You want to use a database app rather than a spreadsheet app.

Load up MS Access and have a play with that.
