Software for editing MP3s?

Can anyone recommend some software that I could use to edit mp3 audio? Basically I want to cut the firss minute of a song and the last 15 seconds. I then want to repeat from 45 seconds into the song over and over for 5 minutes. Don't ask!

Can this be done?

Nero wave editor will do that for you m8.

I use it to make my own ringtones for my phone out of mp3s but I have never used it to loop a sample but I would imagine that it would do that no problems.

mp3directcut, not sure on the adding and looping, but it can do the cuts.

Sure people will recommend audacity but I never got on with it, but I know its a more advanced tool.
