Software for making movies

Right what kind of software can u lot reccomend for making movies with games in the by that i mean using fraps to record Halo and make a movie

i allready use Windows Movie Maker but it has been playing up lately, when i got to add a clip i get to add about 5 clips then it crashs to my desktop leaveing me to start all over again.

so whats everybodys recommendation
