Software for splitting up video files?

Hi guys i'm after a free software that will split, say a 5 hour long FLV file into maybe 4-5 parts without having to edit it via Windows Movie Maker/Sony Vegas and re-render the whole thing. Does such a thing exist? Mate told me top get a programme called 'Format Factory' but all it does is re-encode the video into a different file format and doesn't have any options to split the video into multiple parts.

No experience of using them myself but theres a nice little top 5 here

Xilisoft Video Converter allows you to split into specific file sizes.

Avidemux will probably be able to do it without re-encoding.

Maybe you could use the demo of VideoReDo TVSuite just not sure of what limits the demo gives you
