Software for telephone and faxes through 56k modem?

Hi,

for market research purposes I need to make and record and edit some telephone calls from my laptop.

The laptop has a built in modem and microphone.

Does anyone know of any software that can do this?

The laptop is using XP

EDIT: the above will certainly deal well with audio, not sure about faxes...

I need a programm to actually make the calls. Windows dialer is no good as it can only dial numbers and not deliver sound through the microphone or speakers
