Software for video conversion

I have a divx file which I want to burn to DVD and view on my TV.
Which software will allow this?

prolly better to make an svcd, google doom9 or svcdhelp or something like that. Also - Nero has a built in thing, afaik.

Used it to do exactly that (eg convert divX to DVD and play on conventional DVD player).

Takes about an hour to do a full-length film

Great software though, very intuative interface.
