Software for VPN over internet

I saw some software mentioned on here a few weeks ago for creating a VPN over the internet.

The software was simple to use and easy setup, but I cannot remember the name of it for my life.

Anyone know?

so it makes a secure vpn (easily) for secure remote desktop connections?

Yeah so it seems, not used it yet, but have seen it recomended by a few peeps.

Great little bit of software, also lets you play games over the internet using the games "Lan" game settings, in other words you can bypass having to go thorugh login lobbies like in "Company of Heroes" and other games that don't allow you to set up IP or direct link play unless you are on a Lan.
