Hi all
I have aquired 2 Macintosh's, PowerPC 8600 and 9600 to be precise, running MacOS 8.6 and 9 respectively.
Is there any websites out there that have free software for these machines? I'm looking for simple FTP, a better browser than IE (can't render most pages properly any more).
It looks like the last time these machines were on was 2003. They still perform alright and would make excellent web/email wordprocessor machine for my sister who just started college.
Is Classic Mac os truly dead now, everything seems to be MacOSX.
Can I use a DMG file in classic OS.
Also, could I get any PC usb card and plug that in to allow use a card reader?
Thanks
