I have been the treasurer for our local bike club for a good couple of years now, and so, for my uses, I have been using good old paper and pen, and for my needs, this has been flawless. after our meetings, I simply get home, and I put the notes and figures into my PC and thats been great.
The thing is, that now, its becoming more and more complex. there are now more members, and while there is one club, there is now 4 chapters and while eaach chapter has their own treasurers, I am the national treasurer.
Also, we used to have members paying their subs at the clubhouse, and so it was done on specific days but now I have members paying at so many times, some in cash,. some with bank transfers or standing orders on random days of the month, and frankly, I am now getting all over the place!
So, I am looking to use either my phone, or preferably a tablet ( I also have an old ipad that I would be happy to use but its not supported anymore ( IPAD 4 ) ) and so can anyone offer any ideas on what I can use???
I am trying out spreadsheet software and thats ok, but its also a bit poo at the same time too!
