Software that copys images??

Hi im after some sort of software that lets me basically copy and paste images from something like word onto a blank photo.

I have made a lot of wooden blank plaques, and im putting images onto them. I am selling these plaques online.

To save time, instead of making every single plaque putting the image onto it, and then listing it for sale individually.

If i take a picture of my blank plaque, is there a way of transferring an image off the internet and making it look like it is actualy on the plaque in real life?

I hope this all makes sense.

I do know about photoshop, but i dont have the funds to use it, and the trial isn't helpfull as i would need it long term.

Also, how would i sum my query up? So i can try and search for it over the internet?

it sounds like you want something that supports layers. that is you can paste one image over the top of another but manipulate it separately.

you could take a look at paint.net or gimp (both free).

Gimp is a good free image editor. Can be a bit complicated to use but there are several easy to follow tutorials out there

What about Photoshop Elements? Quite cheap.

If you take a picture of the blank plaque fill the blank area with something highly coloured to easily be able to mask out the area you want to fill with the image i.e. similar to green screen useages for movies.
