Software to convert one large .WAV file into MP3s?

I've just recorded an old cassette tape (don't laugh) onto WAV file on my PC, and now want to chop it up into MP3s.

What proggy can I use for this on a Mac? :confused:

Audacity is a gd app, I used to use it on windows but didn't realise it was for mac as well, thanks!

I love cassete and vinyl, still use it today, lots of my music from my youth is on cassette, fair play to you mate.

I still got loads of mini-discs with stuff on them that one day I will convert ......
