software to detect and log router dropping connection

Hi guys, anything I can use other then the router logs?
Problem being my 5 month old W8970 tp link router has been dropping the internet connection for the last few days.
My talk talk brand x router has been solid for the last 24 hours so go figure
Need to get some back up evidence for the return, but before that I am going for a factory reset and then monitor it for 24 hours.

Needs a static ip which I do not have.

routerstats or dmt tool will do this, but whether or not they support your router I have no idea I'm afraid

It was my tp-link was faulty.
I am using a wireless extender with the talk talk router and my signal is at full power all around the house now.
My tp-link is 8 months old and forked, will not buy this make again.
Going to take it up the farm and use the shot gun on it.
