I have an issue. I have about 160 pictures i have taken at an event and now find that some poeple have asked me for a cd/dvd of them. i want to give them the pictures in such a way they can view them, but not get reprints done them selfs.

Is there a software program anyone would recomend for this? i tried acdc but this didnt seem to work as all it did was create a movie file and put the pictures on the dvd too...

cheers for reading

powerpoint slide show with watermarks? Save as exe, next to impossible to go back. (Watermarks tops the "alt+printscreen" situation)

Using either of these two software - will i be able to burn to a DVD to play on a DVD player or will they need to be on a PC/laptop to run?

Id use Nero Photo VideoCD, this will do what you want and if you resize the images to 800x600 before burning to disk, they wont be of much use for printing anyway, they will still look fine on a TV though.

You can create a super video cd or just burn the jpeg files as most dvd player will play them natively, you can't stop people creating their own prints though. If they can see the photo, they can copy it.

I used NERO Slide Show creator, you can add music, flim clips etc and the pictures can not be used toprint from.

Nearly any photo editing software will allow you save copies of your pics as lo-res JPG's which are perfectly ok to view on PC/Mac, but not good enough to print.;)

Not quiet sure what you mean by this? wont the water mark show on the picture on the screen and ruin the image? not done this so forgive my ignorance.

Colin

Id go for semi-ruining the image, id keep the watermark quite small and transparenty at about 50%, but, Id make sure you cover at least some part of the main image, so they cannot just crop or easily clone out the copyright.

Something like this
