Software to edit a PDF for free?

I'd like to add text and save a PDF form but don't really want to fork out for Adobe Professional.

Are there any decent free (or low cost) apps that will me to do this?

You can create your own PDFs by using OpenOffice.org

Or CutePDF, it adds a 'printer' to your computer and it will print out of most applications.

I use it for documentation etc out of FF, or creating documents that i dont want changed when emailing such as contract previews etc...

PDFCreator is free and very good, dunno if it allows editing though.
