"software to help analyze our web log files"

I've a client that wants to see where everyone goes on the site, cutting out bots etc. I usually do this with PHP and MySQL to split and track the results, but he thought there might be a quicker and cheaper piece of software to give a more accurate set of results for the users on the site?

Any reccomendations? He might want to use ASP.NET 2.0 on one of his own Windows servers so I could do with some cross platform hints.

Makesure all the options are switched on for log files, and use something like 123 web analyser or webtrends.
