software to manage network shares

hi guys,

have a windows box here with XP pro on it and wondering if there is any good software that can manage my network shares and add usernames/passwords for all users etc. Its for a storage/media server machine and I want to set some different access levels etc. I was thinking maybe using server 2003 and setting up a domain is an option but if i could do it on XP Pro it would be handier. Any ideas? Cheers

mmc is all you need tbh. One quick tip though is to keep your Share access rights as open as possible and use NTFS permissions to restrict access as required within those shares
